Richard Johnson has served as curator of the Sports Museum since 1982 and has also authored or co-authored twelve books, including Red Sox Century, The Dodgers, 120 years of Dodgers Baseball, Fall Classics, The Best Writing on the World Series, Ted Williams, A Portrait in Words and Pictures, and others. His personal best time (2:57) was achieved at the 1974 Boston Marathon.
